Psalm 119
161 Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
163 I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
164 Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
166 Lord, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.
167 My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
168 I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my aways are before thee.

Mosiah 15
18 And behold, I say unto you, this is not all. For O how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that is the founder of peace, yea, even the Lord, who has redeemed his people; yea, him who has granted salvation unto his people;
19 For were it not for the redemption which he hath made for his people, which was prepared from the foundation of the world, I say unto you, were it not for this, all mankind must have perished.
Philippians 4
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I continued looking for scriptures about peace today, and I found these, about loving the word and law of God (not only following, but loving the law brings peace), how Jesus Christ is the Redeemer and founder of Peace, and how the peace of God
is above our understanding. That reminds me of something I've been
thinking about lately, that our 5 physical senses represent such a
limited view of the world, and those who consider those 5 to be the only
sources of "proof" for any belief, are only blinding themselves to a
broader understanding of their life. That's the beauty of the gospel, how personal it is. I have had proof enough, many times over, of things I know to be true, but that I can't show others, or urge them to smell, feel, or taste. A testimony is heard with our ears, but it is only understood in our hearts and minds together, and both have to be open to the be touched by the spirit.
